Continued membership growth was among the many highlights for the European Society of Radiology (ESR) in 2013, the society stated in its annual report.
As of the end of 2013, the ESR had 58,468 members, up 8.6% from 53,822 at the end of 2012. Abstract submissions for ECR 2014 have also increased by 6%, thanks to a strategic decision to make the society's Electronic Presentation Online System (EPOS) open-access, the ESR said.
In 2013, the ESR had 7.5 million euros in revenue and profit of 657 euros.
