Elekta makes 1st Finnish sale of Agility multileaf collimator

Radiation oncology firm Elekta has sold its first Agility 160-leaf multileaf collimator in Finland.

The sale to Kuopio University Hospital in Kuopio includes two Infinity radiotherapy treatment systems, as well as Elekta's Oncentra volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) and Monaco treatment planning systems.

The Infinity systems are replacing two older linear accelerators.
