Bracco names new CEO for U.S. subsidiary

Italian contrast developer Bracco Imaging has hired Vittorio Puppo as the new CEO for its U.S. subsidiary Bracco Diagnostics, replacing Carlo Medici, who has left the company.

Puppo previously was head of diagnostic imaging injectors at Bracco Imaging. Prior to that, he worked for radiation oncology firm Accuray as general manager of the company's Europe, Middle East, and Asia (EMEA) and India region.

Puppo has also served stints with firms Covidien and GE Healthcare/Amersham Health.
