Spanish symposium eyes personalized cancer medicine

The European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) is hosting the first in a series of events dedicated to issues surrounding personalized cancer medicine later this week.

To be held on 1-2 March in Sitges, Spain, the conference will feature a panel of experts that will highlight the challenges and novelties that the dissection of biomarkers are continuously bringing to the oncology field, according to ESMO.

The society said it expects 200 academic clinical researchers and industry researchers throughout Europe and the rest of the world will be attending the conference.
