Laitek expands with new IT contract

July 10, 2012 -- Data migration firm Laitek has won a contract with the U.K.'s National Health Service Supply Chain, the company said.
Under the terms of the contract, Laitek will provide DICOM data migration packages. The company's Migratek Advanced Data Migration bypasses application-level communication to access legacy data at the storage level. Migratek migration server software can be customized for each type of legacy PACS and the type of storage system the legacy PACS uses for its image files, according to the firm.
