By AuntMinnieEurope.com staff writers

September 16, 2010 -- Siemens Healthcare of Erlangen, Germany, has received its first 10 orders in the U.K. for its syngo.via client-server application.

Siemens' first U.K. orders include University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and Royal Sussex County Hospital, part of Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The software application does not restrict user access from dedicated workstations and is accessible from any network-attached workstation. It collates clinical images for interpretation and automatically preprocesses according to condition-specific requirements, according to Siemens.
