Siemens fills Barts imaging order

August 10, 2010 -- Siemens Healthcare of Erlangen, Germany, has installed 11 new imaging systems at St. Bartholomew's (Barts) Hospital's new Imaging and Diagnostics Department in the Barts Cancer Centre.

The installations, which include digital radiography, CT, and ultrasound, are part of a 35-year project that includes a managed equipment service (MES) partnership between Barts, the London NHS Trust, and Siemens.

Siemens will handle the maintenance, supply, and ongoing replacement of all imaging equipment until 2045.
