The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) has appointed Dr. Alexis Vrachimis of the German Oncology Center in Cyprus as its secretary and treasurer.
Alexis Vrachimis. Courtesy of the German Oncology Center.Vrachimis is currently a member of the EANM's Thyroid Committee. He will officially join the association's board in January 2024, succeeding Wolfgang Wadsak, the EANM said.
In another announcement made at the EANM annual congress held in Vienna from 9 to 13 September, Magdalena Mileva was declared as the recipient of the Marie Curie Award "in recognition of her exceptional contributions."
